HR Business Partner – Europe

Reporting to: Head of Europe (Territory Manager) & Head of Organizational Development (Line Manager)

Location: Austria or South of Germany preferred, Hybrid/Remote in the EU/UK

Primary Language: English, other languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus

Employment Type: Full-time, option to start on part-time basis (>60%)

As COROS continues to scale across Europe, we are looking for a part-time HR Business Operations professional to support our people and business operations across multiple countries and teams. This role will play a key part in enabling our regional growth by ensuring smooth recruitment processes, fostering positive employee relations, and coordinating training and team initiatives that strengthen our culture and performance.

Working closely with regional leadership and the global team, this role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on HR professional who is comfortable operating independently across markets, building structure where needed, and balancing operational execution with a people-first mindset.

While the role is intended as full-time, it may start part-time (minimum 60%) with a clear path to full-time based on mutual fit and evolving business needs.


The Role:

Recruitment Support & Coordination

  • Assist with recruitment for European and select global roles, including:
    • Conduct research and benchmarking to support role definition and compensation planning
    • Drafting and publishing job postings in English, in collaboration with hiring managers
    • Conducting initial resume screenings and shortlisting candidates
    • Conducting first-round interviews to assess general role alignment and cultural fit
    • Coordinating interviews and communication with hiring managers and global HR teams
  • Maintain steady recruitment progress and deliver a positive candidate experience across cultural backgrounds and time zones
  • Support structured onboarding of new hires, including documentation, equipment setup, and orientation in alignment with global processes
  • Provide HR guidance and act as a sparring partner to hiring managers across the employee lifecycle

Employee Relations, Training & Business Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact for people- and business-related matters for employees and managers
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and employee relations, including:
    • Communicating and clarifying HR policies
    • Handling employee inquiries, feedback, and general support needs
    • Acting as a neutral party in performance conversations or conflict resolution situations
    • Coordinating with global HR teams on process and compliance matters
  • Help implement and communicate clear regional HR guidelines on key operational topics
  • Support the planning and execution of training and personal development initiatives within existing frameworks
  • Assist in organizing team-building initiatives, regional meetings, and cross-functional communication
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment between global teams, particularly in Europe, the USA, and China
  • Serve as an HR advisor to the Head of Europe and CEO on regional people-related strategy and structure


The Candidate:

  • Preference for candidates in Austria or the South of Germany, or potentially within the EU/UK
  • +5 years of relevant experience in HR, People Operations, HR/Business Operations, or a comparable field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Solid understanding of employment regulations and labor practices in key European markets (legal expertise not required, but strong judgment and stakeholder management skills are essential)
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and self-motivation
  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across diverse cultural backgrounds; experience working with Chinese teams is a plus
  • Proven ability to operate independently with limited supervision while ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders
  • High level of maturity, reliability, and professional judgment
  • A genuine enthusiasm for sports and the intersection of technology, brand, and culture is a strong plus

Deine Aufgaben:

  • Umsetzung und Koordination aller Copy- und Übersetzungsaufgaben zur Lokalisierung von Website-, Blog- und Newsletter-Inhalten für unsere lokalen Kanäle
  • Management eingehender Kooperationsanfragen und Feedback an potenzielle Partner
  • Community Management auf unseren Social-Media-Kanälen inklusive Austausch mit unserer aktiven und schnell wachsenden Community
  • Weitergabe von Produktfeedback unserer Community an interne Teams (Produkt, Customer Support)
  • Eigenständige Betreuung von Ambassador-Partnerschaften sowie operative Unterstützung bei der Zusammenarbeit mit Athlet:innen und Content Creators
  • Eigenverantwortliche Umsetzung und Unterstützung von Projekten in den Bereichen Events, Aktivierungen, Social Media und Content Creation
  • Repräsentation von COROS bei Retail-Events, Sportveranstaltungen und Content-Produktionen
  • Verwaltung regionaler Testgeräte und Seed-Produkte
  • Recherche, Datensammlung und Aufbereitung von Informationen für unterschiedliche Themen und Zielgruppen
  • Aktive Beobachtung von Trends und Entwicklungen im Sport- und Outdoor-Bereich, insbesondere in für COROS relevanten Segmenten


Dein Profil:

  • Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium im Bereich Sportmarketing, Kommunikation, Betriebswirtschaft oder vergleichbare Berufserfahrung
  • Einstiegsposition für Kandidat:innen mit maximal drei Jahren Berufserfahrung im Marketing, idealerweise im Sport- oder Wearable-Tech-Umfeld
  • Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
  • Selbstständige Arbeitsweise bei gleichzeitig hoher Lernbereitschaft
  • Unternehmerisches Mindset und offene Persönlichkeit mit ausgeprägten Problemlösungsfähigkeiten

EU Logistics Associate

COROS is seeking an individual with a strong background in order fulfillment, returns processing, bookkeeping, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A few years of experience working at small to medium-sized companies is preferred. Experience with e-commerce businesses, shipping logistics, and product inventory is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound shipments, including processing returns for both customers and retailers, auditing, and handling both new and refurbished inventory.
  • Manage order fulfillment for wholesale and retail orders, including POs, invoicing, and logistics scheduling.
  • Prepare freight quotes.
  • Track and trace freight, and process consolidations at the destination.
  • Collaborate with various teams—marketing, accounting, supply chain, etc.—to address order-related inquiries and provide status reports.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in operational logistics, with relevant experience in warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, inventory control, documentation, issue resolution).
  • General awareness of hazardous materials/dangerous goods is a plus.
  • Experience operating in a high-velocity environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and follow through.
  • Experience in motivating team members constructively.
  • Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.
